Office Furniture Removal Inventory Checklist
Count furniture by room, separate what stays, and confirm building access before requesting a removal quote.

Walk the floor before you price the job
Count desks, returns, chairs, tables, storage, shelving, and reception pieces by room. Mark attached, powered, modular, glass, or unusually heavy items. Floor plans go stale; a current walk-through is more useful.
Give every item one destination
Use clear tags for keep, relocate, return, sell, donate, recycle, remove, or hold. Empty files and storage before release. Keep electronics and records under the correct internal owner rather than treating them as furniture.
Confirm the building handoff
Ask about loading docks, freight elevators, work hours, security, floor protection, parking, and insurance documents. Name one on-site decision maker for questions on removal day.
Buffalo residents should check the City of Buffalo’s current Streets and Sanitation guidance for municipal bulk-item rules. Other municipalities set their own rules.
